Case:
During yet another crisis, the owner of a small craft business realized that finding new clients was becoming increasingly difficult. She read the statistics: attracting "warm" clients costs five times less than attracting "cold" ones; and returning customers generate ten times more revenue than new ones because they trust the business. The decision was made to focus on working with existing clients to navigate the situation. But there was a problem. All this time, the owner thought that CRM was too expensive and didn’t want to disrupt existing processes. The prices for such services are indeed quite high for small businesses. For example, the starting subscription for Hubspot is $20, and for Salesforce, it’s $25 per month. For this amount, the user gets the most basic plan with a limited number of contacts and functions. Additionally, these services require some expertise to set up the CRM or hiring a specialist. As a result, the agency continued to store data in Excel spreadsheets (but the account manager often forgot to input information due to the "rush" of orders). The question of business survival in a competitive environment arose, and they began searching for a suitable automated tool. On top of this, the owner considered herself a "non-technical" person and had concerns about adopting new technologies. But action was needed. Therefore, they found the platform Platma, which offers much more flexibility based on the classic CRM model at a relatively low cost, with a very simple implementation approach. As a result, the owner and the manager easily transferred the data from their Excel spreadsheets and smoothly transitioned to convenient and effective interaction with leads and clients. Now all information is at their fingertips, showing the status of each client and lead, communication history, and necessary actions.
Functionality:
-
adding and tracking deals and clients;
-
collecting information;
-
update statuses of the deals;
-
adding notes, statuses and files to deals;
-
editing information about leads, deleting leads;
-
confidential information (password-secured app).
In the initial version of the application, there will be only one role.
UI:
Note on the Welcome Screen: A password is mandatory for client data confidentiality. If an employee leaves the company, the password is changed and the other employees are notified of the change. This is a simplified version of sign in / log in in the initial version of the CRM.
